About Moi

Je m’appelle Courtney. I write a bit, and I’m hoping to establish some of my writing in the world, eventually. For some reason I had a good feeling about this blog hosting site, so perhaps I’ll finally get a little recognition! If I’m lucky–it’s obviously quite difficult to expose oneself on the internet when there are so many other writers out there. Most of what I post on here will be masses of things I’ve already written for assignments sometime during the last few years. It shall range from the boring (essays, pour example) to the ridiculous and I only hope you shall find something you like! I named my blog “Only on Wednesdays” because…Wednesdays are odd and generally unliked. I figured I’d give them a little credit, make them feel better. So off we go!

Disclaimer: Remember, not all of the writing in this blog is college-level writing. Some of it may have come from as early as my freshman year of highschool, so you’ll probably see varying degrees of expertise (or lack thereof) throughout the blog, and not necessarily in timely order. Also, I do not give automatic permission for my work to be used in your own studies, or republished anywhere else on the internet. If you wish to use an essay as a reference (although I wouldn’t recommend it, being as I’m merely a freshman in college and my papers are not exactly reference-worthy) PLEASE contact me before actually using it, and don’t use it without my permission. Most of my essays have references of their own, and if you read a paper of mine and realize that I may have used a work of yours in reference, please contact me and I will either take the paper down or put your name/work up in the blog entry. Some of my writing was done before I realized that references are kind of necessary…haha…so please forgive me.
